Residents envision a hub for IGA site

The Westbridge Property Group is proposing to build a three to five storey mixed use building, with up to 94 apartments included in the development, which is open for public comment.

Resident Graeme Cocks said the apartments should not be built on land that should be ‘the centrepiece of the area.’

‘This is the key development site in Inglewood, a 94 apartment development is a waste of this huge site,’ he said.

‘If this development application is successful, it will destroy the heart of our Inglewood community and negate all the good work done by the City of Stirling to develop the Inglewood town precinct.’

But Westbridge Property Group director Matthew McNeilly said the development would activate the site.
