Roads draw Craig back to ride for charity

This year marked the seventh run for the Dianella resident, who has been riding motorbikes for about 20 years.

“I first started riding when I lived in the centre of Perth and had no place to park a car but a motorbike could squeeze in anywhere,” he said.

“I went carless for five years until I moved back to the suburbs.” Mr Collins has owned four bikes throughout the years and still has two.

This year’s run got him hooked on blues music.

“On the Saturday, we had lunch at Windy Harbour with a swim in the ocean and followed that with our second night at the Bridgetown Blues,” he said.

“I’m now committing myself to seek out more blues music.”

The run was from November 13 to 15 departing from Dianella and raised money for charity.
