Man seriously injured after Roe Street crash

A MAN is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Roe Street, Perth, in the early hours of Monday morning.

A green utility collided with a garbage truck, reportedly pinning a 48-year-old man from Nedlands, who was working outside the vehicle.

St John Ambulance received the call at 1.27am, and the man was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital as a priority one.

The man had suffered injuries to his legs and pelvis.

The driver of the utility, a 20-year-old man from Wilson, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are investigating the circumstances around the crash.
