YOUNG people in underserviced communities will receive a generous delivery of tennis racquets and balls thanks to the Royal Kings Park Tennis Club.
The club that is based at Next Gen Kings Park collected the used sporting equipment and handed it over to Fair Game chief executive Nicki Bardwell on Friday.
Fair Game is an Australian charity that helps inspire healthy communities via donated recycled sports equipment and by delivering sport, fitness and health programs.
Ms Bardwell said the pre-loved sports equipment would have a positive social and environmental impact.
“Fair Game will give it a second life by distributing it to regional and remote communities across WA where it will help remove the barriers to participation in sport,” she said.
Royal Kings Park Tennis Club president Bruno Camarri said Fair Game was an excellent charity and members loved to help others enjoy sport and have regular exercise.
