RTRFM 92.1’s annual fundraiser Radiothon kicked off this morning and rocks the airwaves until 12pm Sunday, August 19.

The money raised throughout the 10-day event makes up more than one-third of RTRFM’s operating income.

Listeners can get a Radiothon Donut from all Mary Street Bakery outlets, with $1 from each donut donated back to the station and a blend of Twin Peak Coffee hitting a number of venues around Perth.

RTRFM studios will be inundated with appearances by former presenters, visits from local personalities and live in-studio performances from local musicians.

Phone room volunteers will be on standby to take subscriptions and donations throughout the Radiothon period.

The opening party is on Saturday, August 11 at Badlands Bar, featuring Skullcave, New Talk, Dumbleachers, Doublethink Prism, Ratking, Black Stone from The Sun and Noah Dillon.

Tickets are available from Oztix and RTRFM.com.au.
