RTRFM’s In The Pines back for 26th year of celebrating local music

LOCAL music fans are set to descend on Somerville Auditorium for the 26th instalment of RTRFM’s In the Pines.

The long-running festival in Crawley features 10 hours of tunes amongst the trees, with 19 performers including Carla Geneve, Natasha Eldridge, Downsyde, Salary, Zerodent, Cold Meat, Pat Chow and Yomi Ship announced, and one secret addition to come.

Tash Shanks from the Little Lord Street Band said she was stoked the band made the lineup.

“It’s like a Christmas party for musos – it’s a good catch up day,” she said.

Dylan Prossor from Zerodent said playing In the Pines was a goal for local musicians.

“If you’re in the local scene, you always want to find out if you’ll play Pines,” he said.

The event runs from 11am to 10pm at the University of Western Australia on Sunday, April 14, and will be broadcast live on RTRFM 92.1 and at rtrfm.com.au.

Presale tickets are available from $35 for RTRFM subscribers and $40 for the general public.
