Segway Tours WA expand into Kings Park

Segway Tours WA expand into Kings Park

SEGWAY Tours WA will expand their business to Kings Park ahead of the Australia Day long weekend as part of a two-year trial announced by the State Government today.

The new tour will take in views of the city and Swan and Canning rivers for up to 10km.

Speed will be limited to 10km/h and 5km/h on some pathways.

Owners Owen Williams and Belinda Hill launched their segway tours at the Swan Bell Tower in 2013 and have already expanded to Fremantle and Rottnest Island.

Environment Minister Stephen Dawson said Kings Park was the most visited destination in WA so it was really exciting to bring a new tour format to the park.

“I want to see people use and explore our beautiful parks and using a segway is a great new way to do it,” Mr Dawson said.
