Serving seniors morning tea

As part of their course, the upper school students had to cater for a local community group and chose to invite senior citizens to a series of three morning teas, held once a week for three weeks.

On Friday, August 15, they served a variety of foods including brownies, fruit tarts and spring rolls, to name just a few items on their extensive menu.

Community relations spokeswoman Annette Preshaw said the August 15 event was especially significant for the students as they hosted parishioners from St Mary’s Church along with ladies who generously give up their time to catalogue and look after the College’s memorabilia.
