THE City of Perth is inviting people to have their say on what kind of capital city they want in the future.
Share to Shape Our Capital is the council’s largest strategic planning consultation project in its history.
City of Perth chief executive Martin Mileham said the aim was to develop “a dynamic and sustainable long-term vision for Perth city”.

“Perth is almost unrecognisable from what it was a mere 10 years ago in terms of its skyline, residential population, culture, entertainment venues and public spaces,” he said. “Now it’s time to look ahead and think about all of the things we could do to take Perth to the next level and that’s a really exciting prospect.”
Mr Mileham said people who “work, live, shop, study and play” in the city are encouraged to participate.
He said people can provide feedback on Twitter, Facebook, complete an online survey or take part in one of a series of dedicated workshops.
Feedback gathered during the campaign will contribute to the drafting of a revised Strategic Community Plan and the drafting of a City Planning Strategy.
Share to Shape our Capital runs until Thursday, April 13.
