Manager Brandon Tan said the idea came from customer feedback in the existing restaurants.

“Our customers have been big fans of the dish, and it’s one of our most popular,” he said.

“It was natural for us to give roti more airtime.”

He said it was exciting to see locals embracing Malaysian food.

“Bringing family recipes to Perth is such a rewarding and humbling feeling,” he said.

“It’s truly a compliment and rewarding experience when people get to experience what we love about Malaysian food.”

Diners can expect “a funky place with some great roti”, with dine-in and takeaway options available.

There will also be ready-to-go Nasi Lemak Korner meals for anyone needing a curry fix.
