AWARD-winning craft beer company Cheeky Monkey will be available on Singapore Airlines flights from Perth to Singapore from 1 October.

Margret River-based Cheeky Monkey will be offering Session Red Ale, West Coast IPA, Pale Ale, Australian Larger and Apple Cider to business class customers in-flight and before departure in the SilverKris Lounge at Perth Airport.

Singapore Airlines WA manager David Pinches said the addition was part of the company’s innovation of food and beverage offerings.

“With interest continuing to increase across the globe for craft beer, we felt it was the perfect opportunity to partner with a local brewery to offer our customers a craft beer option,” Mr Pinches said.

“We are very pleased to be able to work with Cheeky Monkey who are a great West Australian craft beer brewery, and showcase to our customers some excellent local produce.”

Cheeky Monkey director Brent Burton said the team was excited to showcase its beers on Singapore Airlines flights.

“The effect it will have on the local economy, breweries and the WA beer industry will be huge and we are looking forward to working with Singapore Airlines to increase the exposure of Australian Craft Beer internationally,” Mr Burton said.
