St Paul’s Primary’s new multimedia studio to leave students feeling green

OTHER schools will be green with envy now St Paul’s Primary School has installed a multimedia studio, including a Green Screen Kit and iPad.

The studio allows the students to create multimedia projects using audio and visual elements, lighting equipment and editing software.

The Green Screen technology allows the students to superimpose backgrounds at the same time as they record sound, with the footage turned into audio-visual files for learning and assessment purposes.

The Year 6 students have enthusiastically made the most of the new muilt-media studio to tell stories, explain ideas and express themselves in truly creative and unique ways.

Year 6 teacher Jesse Yock said that the technology proved so popular that the school plans to expand the resources to allow more students to access this technology at the same time.
