ST Simeon Healthcare is expanding its services to Perth.
Staff from the not-for-profit organisation, which provides personal care, home help and garden services for the elderly, held an information session at The Serbian Orthodox Church of Holy Trinity in Perth on October 10.
Team leader Marija Popovic said the service helped the elderly remain independent.
She said the Perth branch was in its early stages, with interviews held for hiring staff this week.
“It is baby steps but we are looking forward to getting to know people in the community,” she said.
Ms Popovic encouraged people to talk about aged care and plan ahead before a crisis occurred.
