THE State Government has reversed a proposal to cut Perth Convention Bureau (PCB) funding by up 30 per cent over the next three years.

Premier Colin Barnett said $3.15 million would be reinstated to the PCB events budget and the organisation would receive an extra $7.55 million.

PCB chairman Ian Laurance said the additional funds would allow PCB to meet the challenges to fill the new hotels and convention spaces in Perth.
