Hale School Year 12 student Toby Hills was the overall winner for his artwork titled in touch.
Toby was also the winner of the best 2D artwork category.
Held in St George's Cathedral, the exhibition is open to art and design students from years 10 to 12.

"I wasn't expecting the award at all," he said. "All the work there was amazing and of such a high standard."
Toby's winning artwork was a portrait of his grandmother holding a smartphone, created with a mixture of pencil work on cartridge paper.
"I wanted to show that anyone can adapt to technology, no matter what your age, and the significant impact that technology has had on all our lives," he said.
"Grandma was stoked. She was telling all her friends and they were thrilled for her."
