Waterproofing remediation works, which will include the removal of heritage pavers and the refurbishment of balustrades, bollards, light poles and hand rails, will be completed in two stages throughout two to three years.

Stage 1 will incorporate the upper concourse level including the two ramps up to St Georges Terrace and the planter boxes on the eastern boundary.

After repairs are completed, the contractor will install almost 2000sq m of waterproofing membrane, followed by the reinstatement of removed pavers, make good and sign off by a heritage specialist.
