A staff reporterEastern Reporter

A BURGLAR smashed open a small safe when he robbed $4000 from Pancakes at Carillon in Murray Street. Perth between 4.30pm and 11pm on January 22.

“The safe was twisted, so most likely offender has thrown it onto the floor,” Senior Sergeant Craig Davis said.

Sgt Davis said the burglar walked into the open shopping centre and kicked in a side door to the pancake outlet, before forcing open a cash till and the safe.
