THREE New South Wales residents are charged after an undisclosed amount of cash was found by police in a 4WD about 1.30pm in Barrack Street, Perth, yesterday.

A police spokesman said the cash was found after a Nissan Qashqai was stopped near the street’s intersection with Hay Street mall.

About 3.40pm, communitynews.com.au observed detectives still interviewing on the street.

The spokesman said three people were arrested before the Qashqai was searched.

A 27-year-old woman, and two men both aged 34, were charged with possessing stolen or unlawfully obtained property.

They will appear at Perth Magistrates Court today.
