Top international talent heading to Perth butchers’ picnic

TALENTED butchers from across the world will descend on Langley Park this Sunday as part of Smokin’ in the City.

Young butchers and their support crews from the USA, Italy, South Africa, Greece, Ireland, New Zealand and all states of Australia will compete and show off their skills at the Lifeline WA International Young Butchers’ Picnic.

The family friendly event will also feature the Smokin’ in the City American BBQ Competition, music entertainment, cooking demonstrations, butchering demonstrations, barbeque cooking food samples and plenty of local produce.

All funds raised at the City of Perth, Mondo Community Warriors and Mondo Butchers-sponsored event will support Lifeline WA’s vital services.

The event takes place on Sunday, April 7, from 11am to 4pm at Langley Park in Perth.
