New users will receive seven days of rides from the day they sign up, while existing customers will receive their free week from the day of their first trip between February 22 – 28.

Ola international vice president Chandra Nath said they could not wait to see the positive response following the rollout.

“Since we began testing in the city last week, we’ve been really pleased with the response and feedback we’re receiving from customers, driver-partners and the community,” he said.

Since starting trials a week ago, the service received a strong response from prospective drivers, with more than 4000 registrations.
