Vince Garreffa’s Mondo Markets popping up in Inglewood

Jessica WarrinerEastern Reporter

LOCAL butcher Vince Garreffa has kicked off his community markets behind Mondo in Inglewood.

The pop-up spring markets are running every Saturday from 8am to 1pm through to the start of December.

Shoppers can pick up fresh organic fruits and vegetables, fresh roast meat sandwiches, home-made pies, bread and sweets by the Stuzzico brothers and local artisan gifts.

The Di Campo family will be serving up coffee and ice cream, and there will also be live music at the intimate markets.

Mr Garreffa said the markets were done the ‘old-fashioned way’.

“You get to talk to the people who are producing the food,” he said.

All stall holders are giving 20 cents to every customer who brings their own bags.
