Perth: Government House to get pre-WA Day flyover

LOOK to the sky on Saturday for an Air Force flypast ahead of WA Day.

A RAAF Base Pearce Pilatus PC-9/A aircraft will fly over Government House on Saturday, June 2 for a WA Day flag raising and cadet parade.

At 3pm, the plane will fly over Fremantle, Canning Highway Bridge, Perth foreshore and Elizabeth Quay, approaching Government House at a maximum speed of 463km/h.

More than 900 young people take part in Air Force cadet units in WA.

Through a range of activities they develop leadership, life skills, a sense of community responsibility and service.
