WA Police say they are investigating 10 incidents of needles being found in strawberries.

Five incidents have been reported to police since late yesterday from the suburbs of Bicton, Darlington, Hocking, Morley, and Rossmoyne.

WA Police Force is joining with other agencies in appealing for people to take care when preparing strawberries for consumption.

Further, anyone who locates anything suspicious is encouraged to contact their local police, call 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The news came after Premier Mark McGowan announced a $100,000 reward for information leading to an arrest of the culprits.
