Julian WrightEastern Reporter

MT Lawley’s bowlers were put to the sword on Saturday with Scarborough hammering nearly 400 runs on day one of their Premier Cricket clash at Abbett Park.

The Hawks were hammered to all parts, with the side a chance to remain winless after six rounds ahead of Saturday’s resumption of play.

The away side will need to show plenty of fight next weekend if they are to avoid a fifth straight loss, chasing Scarborough’s 8-396.
