Wattle Grove PS students to sell ‘love angels’ at Kings Park

WATTLE Grove Primary School students have made about 250 ‘love angels’ to sell at a Mother’s Day event in Kings Park on Friday.

Love Angels founder Ros Worthington said the students epitomised what the love angel was all about – promoting the philanthropy message among young people.

Schools including Scotch College, St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls, Christ Church Grammar School and Attadale PS will sell love angels and handmade crafts as well as wares students have collected at The Magic of Mothers event to raise money for the Bali Kids Medical Centre, Ubud Birthing Centre and Telethon.

Original ‘love angel’ and Notre Dame University student Ella Harwood and Chisholm Catholic College ‘love angel’ Charlie de Boer will be guest speakers on the day.
