MAJOR Crash Investigators are seeking information regarding a crash in West Perth this morning in which a man died.
About 6:50am a black Mercedes-Benz was being driven south on Thomas Street.
At the same time an 80-year-old man was attempting to cross the street near the intersection of Kings Park Road.
The car and pedestrian collided with each other and the 80-year-old man received serious injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital but died as a result of the injuries he received.

The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was also taken to hospital for treatment for shock.
