West Perth fire expected to cause closure of Wellington St

A MAJOR FIRE in West Perth will cause the closure of Wellington Street.

Firefighters were called to a building on Wellington Street at 1.47pm this afternoon.

The building on fire is near the corner of Wellington Street and Havelock Street.

Police will be closing Wellington Street as result.

As of 1.58pm the fire was not under control.
