Perth: your guide to watching the Royal Wedding on TV

THE Royal Wedding takes place this Saturday May 18, which will see Prince Harry of Wales and fiancé Meghan Markle tie the knot at Windsor Castle in England.

The couple will exchange vows with the Archbishop of Canterbury to officiate.

Their engagement was announced in November of last year with the former Suits actress set to become a member of the Royal Family.

The spectacle will have live coverage across all of Western Australia on a number of different platforms.

Seven will start coverage from 3pm, followed with Melissa Doyle and Michael Usher hosting coverage of the ceremony with commentary from acclaimed BBC broadcaster Angela Rippon from 7pm.

The wedding will be shown on the ABC live from 5:30pm on ABC TV, simulcast live on ABC News and live streamed on ABC iView hosted by Annabel Crabb and Jeremy Fernandez.

Coverage will air live from 5:30pm on SBS and SBS On Demand and will be hosted by radio presenter Myf Warhurst, comedian Joel Creasey and acclaimed journalist Ray Martin at SBS Artarmon HQ.

UKTV (via Foxtel) will show uninterrupted coverage at 7pm.

Following the service, a carriage procession will commence at 8pm from St George’s Chapel through Windsor Town, returning to Windsor Castle via the Long Walk.

Georgie Gardner and Karl Stefanovic will host Nine’s coverage of the event on 9Now starting from 5:00pm.
