Windfall funds tools for Men’s Shed

Shed members will purchase the key tool with a $4000 donated from the North Perth Rotary Club, with other standard tools also set to be purchased to help fit out the Woodville Reserve club.

Committee member and handyman Bob Crowe said the equipment would help the Shed attract members, after it officially opened last weekend.

‘There are some people living in town apartments who have no space at all,’ he said.

‘This will provide them some space and basically provide a social space for people to meet up and do something enjoyable.’

Mr Crowe said he expected about 50 members to sign up in the coming weeks.
