PERTH is being warmed up this winter by the international street food market the Winter Supper Club, which kicks off today.

On the last Friday of June, July and August, the undercroft of Perth Town Hall will host the market.

It will trade from 5pm until 9pm to welcome late night shoppers and those dining before and after Winter Arts Festival events.

The fifth annual Winter Supper Club sees seven new stalls and food trucks join a changing line-up of 18 vendors each month, plus roving accordion, guitar and ukulele players, and a small bar.

New highlights include Twin Beaks’ brioche burgers of duck confit, La Bombetta’s debut with grass-fed beef and potato galette, and Suppa Club with gourmet soups like pumpkin and coconut, and tomato, goat’s cheese and basil.

New food trucks will extend to Hay Street.

Plentiful vegetarian and gluten-free options include El Alamen’s vegetarian sausages and Ragin Cajun’s vegetarian gumbo, while many other stalls can cater to special dietary requirements on request.

Save room for desserts including new vendor Chou Chou’s chocolate flambe and caramel apple, almond pear and orange hazelnut tarts, or treats from Supper Club’s stars of the new State Buildings, Sue Lewis Chocolatier and The Honeycake.

Winter Supper Club presented by the City of Perth: June 24, July 29, August 26, from 5pm- 9pm at Perth Town Hall.
