Jon BassettEastern Reporter

POLICE say a man “flipped” a 62-year-old woman off her bicycle near Barrack Square, near the Barrack Street jetties, about 11.15am on January 6.

Sergeant Natalie Jackson said the woman was confronted by the man, who pushed the bike before he walked away.

“The male then turned around, grabbed the rear tyre of the pushbike and flipped his victim from the bike, causing minor injuries to her,” Sgt Jackson said.
