POLICE have arrested a 29 year-old woman after she drove erratically through the CBD last night.
At approximately 8.15pm on Sunday night, police were called following reports of a Blue Mitsubishi ASX being driven on footpaths and the incorrect side of the road.
It was initially reported to being driven on the Kwinana Freeway with its front-left tyre blown, before it exited at Mounts Bay Road and collided with several safety barriers.
The car was driven along The Esplanade, Barrack Street and Riverside Drive in a similar manner, before it mounted the pedestrian walkway near the Bell Tower and crashed into a sign.
The driver was arrested at the scene. Police are currently conducting inquiries.
