Woman charged with manslaughter following crash in Dianella

A 30-year-old woman has been charged with manslaughter following a crash in Dianella on July 12.

It is alleged she was driving a Hyundai Getz that collided with a St John Ambulance.

The 87-year-old patient that was travelling in the ambulance died at Royal Perth Hospital on July 15.

The woman is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrate’s Court  via bedside hearing on Wednesday July 18.

She was charged with one count of manslaughter, one count of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and one count of no authority to drive.

The investigation continues.
