A POLICE officer was seriously injured this afternoon after being pinned between two cars in Yokine.
The officer had been pursuing a car on Morley Drive when the vehicle was caught in traffic near the intersection with Flinders Street just before 1pm.
When the officer approached the car they were pinned between the car and another vehicle and suffered a serious leg injury.
Police arrested a number of people at the scene, one of whom was treated by St John Ambulance paramedics after suffering what police described as a “medical episode”.
