YOKINE Primary School will be boarded and duly seized this Friday, June 9, as young pirates swarm over its defences.

The whole school is dressing like pirates to raised funds for childhood cancer research.

The event demonstrates Yokine Primary School’s community spirit in raising awareness and support for a worthy cause.

Pirate Day Friday is a collaboration between the Kids Cancer Project and The Adventurers.

It is an annual event at Yokine Primary School, which accommodates more than 300 students and has been serving the community for more than 50 years.
