OUR mayor, John Carey, is concerned over congestion in Fitzgerald Street (Mayor smells a rat, Guardian Express, January 21).

Perhaps he should take the head of that rat and place it on the pillow of our State Premier one night.

That might make Mr Barnett wake up to the nightmare of light rail rolling past North Perth Plaza.
