Governer ladles out homeless help

Denise S. CahillEastern Reporter

Ms Sanderson was among volunteers in Brookfield Place earlier this month encouraging people to buy soup made by chefs such as Andre Mahe, Dan Fisher and Brad Johnston. Money raised at the annual event will help the Homeless Healthcare service meet the increasing demand for medical services among Perth's homeless community.

The service currently visits 11 sites in the metropolitan area and provides a mobile GP clinic at drop-in centres, youth centres, women’s refuges, shelters and drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities.

People can host their own "soup kitchen" at home to raise money for Homeless Healthcare.
