Loos and trams

I had the need to use public toilets in the park Jardin des Tuileries. They cost 70€ cents to use, about one dollar.

There was a cleaner on duty and they were spotless. I felt confident and safe using these facilities rather than the more modern automatic “toilet capsules”.

As a child, I remember my mother taking me to the paid public toilets in the city. With the ageing population, paid public toilets with a cleaner on site must be included in the city planning agenda.

On another matter, while in France I did a champagne tour in Reims. The French tour operator asked when Perth’s new trams project would be completed.

She was aware the minister and Perth mayor had been to Reims to see the recently completed trams system.
