Opinion: Nowhere to park at train station

TO train or not to train.

On November 1 at around 9.30am I went with my daughter to the train station in Stirling.

We wanted to take a train to the city instead of driving the car in.

Needless to say we drove around for over 15 minutes to every possible parking area and there was not a single parking space to be had.

So we had to take the car to the city.

I just wondered what happens to people who really need to take the train and cannot park their cars?

Seems to me the system doesn’t work and I thought the City was encouraging people to use public transport.

Anyway from someone who thankfully uses the train about once every 10-15 years, it doesn’t really bother me. But I feel sorry for those who have to train in more frequently.
