Last year’s event raised over $1400 for NBCF and the agency hopes to make this year bigger and better, enlisting the help of several shops and businesses along Beaufort Street.

“We have teamed up with Oli, our local coffee shop and a massive supporter of the cause,” Mrs Marie said.

“They will be selling coffee for a gold coin donation and will also be selling limited edition Pink shirts of which all proceeds will go to NBCF.”

Several businesses have already donated prizes, which will be raffled on the day, including Department and Once Upon a Brow, with more donations expected.

The bake sale is just one of a range of events held by The Professionals’ network of offices Australia-wide.

Chief executive David Crombie, said over $3.29 million had been raised since 2003, helping fund vital research into the cause, prevention and treatment of breast cancer.

“It is a cause that is very close to our hearts and we are committed to continuing our fundraising for the NBCF,” he said.

“As part of our commitment, we donate a portion of each property sale year-round, so just by listing and selling your home with a Professionals real estate agent,, you will be helping the NBCF.

“We also hold multiple fundraisers across Australia from large national events to office-based fundraisers whenever we get a chance.”
