Cricket: Mt Lawley-Inglewood scratching guard ahead of new season

MT LAWLEY-INGLEWOOD Cricket Club will be taking to the field for the first time this summer on Saturday.

The Panthers are fielding four two-day teams and a one-day side this season.

Mt Lawley-Inglewood will be competing in 2nd, 4th, 6th and 9th grade, as well as the Metro One Day competition.

To open the season the second XI will face Floreat-Hellenic at Hamer Park, the fourth XI will be playing University at Menzies Park, and the sixth XI will play Dianella at Hamer’s second pitch.

The Panthers’ one-day side will face Green Range at City Beach Upper Oval.

All games will start at 12.30pm this Saturday.

The 9th grade has a bye in round one.

Mt Lawley-Inglewood are welcoming new players and encourage interested people to register soon.
