MT LAWLEY’s finals hopes took a battering on the weekend as they dropped to fifth place on the WA Amateur Football B League ladder.
The Hawks were outclassed at home by Kingsway, losing 13.13 (91) to 8.13 (61).
The McKinlays fought hard for Mt Lawley, with Adam kicking four goals and David three.
This brings up 100 goals for the season between the two of them, with 51 to Adam and 49 to David, but there was little else to cheer.
It was Mt Lawley’s third loss on the trot after a streak of four wins.
Kingsway are now third on the ladder, with Collegians jumping into fourth spot at the Hawks’ expense.
There are two games remaining in the home and away season.
Mt Lawley faces last-placed Quinns District on Saturday at Ridgewood Park before returning home to Hamer Park to play Whitford, who are now second.
