TERRY Hatzis (10) will be one of the older competitors in his age group when he competes in three international golf tournaments in the US in July.

The Mt Lawley Golf Club member, who hits off an 18 handicap, will compete in the Future Champions Golf International and the IMG Academy Junior World Championships in San Diego, as well as the World Stars of Junior Golf in Las Vegas.

Terry played in several US tournaments when he was seven years old but was one of the youngest in his group.

Terry started playing golf at age five after his dad Chris noticed he showed some good skills while playing an electronic Tiger Woods PGA Tour game.
