Every four years, the best Jewish athletes from around the world compete in open, masters, juniors and disabled competitions.
The games are supported by the Maccabi World Union, a worldwide youth and sports organisation dedicated to furthering Jewish identity and traditions through cultural, social, and educational activities.
Students Gregg Osrin (basketball), Zac Rosenberg (soccer), Danelle Terry (soccer) and Gina Steinberg (netball) said they were looking forward to flying out on July 11 to compete in their respective sports.
