The 12-year-old from Dianella was recently named most valuable player in his junior competition, after starting as the number one player in both the under 12 and under 14 teams.

Since he was 10-years-old, he has been playing with the senior members, on top of his junior competitive training and matches which see him at the courts each Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during summer. The club recently finished its court upgrade, which includes 10 floodlit hard courts and 14 grass courts, with a new coach and tennis programs also appointed to take advantage of the revamp.

Josh’s mum Dorina said the facilities would help her son and other juniors achieve their tennis dreams.
