Mt Lawley-Inglewood Cricket Club on the prowl for new players

MT LAWLEY-Inglewood Cricket Club’s (MLICC) 2016-17 registration day over the weekend was a good start for the local club, but more players are welcome.

On Saturday, MLICC opened the doors of the Inglewood Oval Clubrooms and fired up the barbie to welcome cricketers of all ages and skill levels.

The Panthers are seeking players for its juniors – Under-10s and upwards – and seniors.

Registrations for the juniors is $150 for the season and seniors is $120 a season, which makes MLICC one of the most affordable cricket clubs in the state.

Last season the senior Panthers contested the finals in 1st, 5th, 6th and 9th grade as well as Metro One Day cricket, and also fielded a 4th grade team.

MLICC juniors competed in the Under-10s Eastern division, Under-14s Eastern and Under-11s.

For more information about signing up please contact the club’s committee at mlicc.panthers@bigpond.com, or seniors president Dave Cleary on dave.cleary@portavin.com.au.
