Netball WA was bequeathed the funds by former state coach and Life Member Bette Allison.

Allison coached the Singapore national netball team on three separate occasions, as well as fostering the game in a variety of international locations including Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Montreal and Vancouver.

Allison’s service to the game was acknowledged through a British Empire Medal (1977), the May Campbell Award (1989) and Australian Sports Medal (2002), as well as Life Membership of Netball WA, School Sport WA, Perth Netball Association and Royals Netball Club.

To be eligible to apply, candidates must be 15 years or over, affiliated to Netball WA and be coaching within either an affiliated region or association, or a Netball WA sanctioned program.

Applications are now open and can be submitted electronically to liz.booth@netballwa.com.au.
