NPL preview: Inglewood United aiming to keep the pressure on leaders Bayswater

AFTER a 2-1 win over Balcatta on the weekend, Inglewood United are gearing up for their home match against Perth Glory tomorrow.

Coach Taki Nicolaidi said the team, which is now two points off the top, was confident ahead of the Balcatta clash.

“There was a hiccup in the last three weeks but we were confident,” he said.

“It was a good performance on the weekend.

“We are preparing for the game against Perth Glory the same way we have for most of the year; we are keeping positive and working on our strengths.”

He shrugged off outside doubts about recent performances on the field.

“Full credit to our guys, from where we’ve been the last few weeks; a lot of people have written us off. I think we showed some really good character,” he said.

Tomorrow’s game will at Inglewood Stadium at 3pm.
