Paul Davis a class act

Almost all the Hawks batsmen managed starts on a slow wicket, but Paul Davis went on to score 77 as the visitors managed a respectable 293.

The third grade were able to post an imposing 271 at Hillcrest thanks to 77 from all-rounder George True-Penter.

Seve Pratico also chipped in with 30 while most of the other batsmen made small contributions.

Mohamed Ejaz continued to impress with his off-spin by taking his first 5 wicket haul for the club in just his second game.

Ryan McLaren also chipped in with 2 wickets but the Hawks were only able to keep Bayswater-Morley to 283.
