Perth looking to channel semi-final form

Jason MarocchiEastern Reporter

Sporting a local rivalry to match the great Real Madrid-Barcelona contests in Spain, Perth will be looking to repeat its emphatic 5-0 victory over Bayswater in the major semi-final.

It was the first time Perth had defeated Bayswater since June, 2011, after Bayswater pipped Perth for the minor premiership in the regular season by two points.

However, Perth coach Taki Nicolaidis said that result would count for nothing on Saturday.

‘This week’s game is a fresh game and a new challenge for both teams,’ he said.
